Hatfield Heath sits right on the Essex and Hertfordshire border, with Sawbridgeworth station less than a mile away and Hatfield Forest, an ancient royal hunting forest now cared for by the National Trust, close by. It's a village that grew up around its green, with a 17th-century inn and a genuine community feel, and it's around 5 miles from our Harlow base, just off the M11 at Junction 7A. We cover Hatfield Heath and the surrounding area, including Sawbridgeworth, Hatfield Broad Oak and Bishop's Stortford.
