Many of the families we support in Newport come to us at a turning point: a parent who's had a fall, a hospital discharge that's moved faster than expected, or simply the realisation that managing alone isn't sustainable any more. We know that reaching out isn't always an easy step, and we treat it that way.
Every support plan starts with understanding the person, not just the task list: their routines, their preferences, the things that make them laugh. Then we build the visits around that. If your usual carer is ever unavailable, we'll let you know in advance, because you should always know who's coming and when.

Blossom Healthcare Solutions was founded in Harlow in 2019 by Patience Maisiri, with roots in palliative and end-of-life care. That same family-run approach runs through every visit we make in Newport: a short chain of command, carers who are trained, supervised and genuinely known to us, and a team you can reach directly if anything needs to change.
Newport first appears in the Domesday Book of 1086, and it's still built around its parish church, St Mary the Virgin, and historic buildings like the Crown House and Monks Barn. Newport railway station gives a direct line to London Liverpool Street and Cambridge, and the village sits at the centre point of the Harcamlow Way, the long-distance path that links Cambridge and Harlow. It's around 3 miles from Saffron Walden and roughly 18 miles from our Harlow base. We cover Newport and the surrounding area, including Saffron Walden.
